Professor of Structural Mechanics and of Earthquake Engineering at

the Civil Engineering School of the Technical University of Catalonia,

UPC-BarcelonaTech.

Currently, Professor Emeritus at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, UPC.

Research Professor at the International Centre of Numerical Methods in Engineering, CIMNE, Barcelona, Spain, and member of the Disaster Risk and Resilience Group from where he collaborated in projects of the European Commission and of different Spanish Ministries as well as in consultancy contracts with Spanish and international companies and institutions.
