Projects in progress

The tests carried out by the Geomatics & Topography Laboratory are not carried out within the laboratory itself, but outside (field or other laboratories). So in the Geomatics & Topography Laboratory, only the equipment is prepared, batteries are charged and minor maintenance is carried out.

Testing grounds

• Training grounds: Torre Girona and Campus Nord.
• Projects of the CID-CSIC Research & Development Center and the UPC's Centre for Development Cooperation, where students travel on behalf of their Bachelor's Final Theses to different countries (such as Cameroon, Tanzania, Salvador, Colombia, etc).

Grounds for measuring tests

• Doñana's National Park, Pyrenees landslides (Vallcebre, Canillo, Pont de Bar, etc.), Cardona.
• Buildings: UPC-BarcelonaTech (ETSAB, Omega, etc.) and others (Control Tower of Barcelona Airport, Santa María del Mar church, etc.).
• Other laboratories located in Buildings B0, C1, D1 and D2 of UPC-BarcelonaTech's Campus Nord.

• Groundwater Hydrology.
• Geophysics Services.
• EHMA (Surface Hydraulics, Harbours and Seashores).
• C1, Laboratory of Structures (occasionally) structural models testing.
